Park play!

We love to play at the park! Any park. And if You listen closely it sounds like Elias is saying "pork" as in the other white meat. Here are some shots of us at the park this summer.
Notice Elias in the background. It looks like an intentional pose but it's not. It's one of the few moments a day when he's standing still...captured on camera!
I call this the "praise Jesus!" picture
Shock and awe!
Isn't that the most kissable little face you've ever seen?
Elias calling out plays with Daddy. Don't be fooled by my fleece outfit and winter boots. This was in fact during the month of May.
Lincoln hanging out in the picnic shelter with Aunt Essie.
We discovered this gem with several trains less than 2 miles from our house. who knew!?! The park also boasts a petting zoo, enormous jungle gyms and wide open spaces for pick up games.
Lincoln Is so proud of himself for playing in the big boys swing that he gives himself a round of applause!
Actually, Lincoln is only allowed in the swing at the park. He tends to put the mulch in his mouth so we must keep him corralled within the confines of the hard rubber pendulum.

Miscellaneous cuteness

These are some of mommy's favs. She must clear space on her phone so this blog will be their new home :) Enjoy!

Easter

Lincoln's first Easter was a rainy one. Elias rocked a solid seersucker outfit as we traveled to Nonni and Papa's house for the festivities.

Williamsburg

Daddy had a great idea one Sunday morning. When we woke up he said "why don't we go to Williamsburg?" I loooove Williamsburg! It was so nice to take my kids to share one my favorite childhood memories. It's just an hour down the road so we'll definitely be back in the fall. Colonial Elias loved his hat and perched proudly with it on the cannon!

Snow angel

Elias loves the snow. He calls it "no". When I asked him what he wanted to call his snowman he said "no-man" :) we had a great time playing in the snow then enjoyed his first cup of cocoa while his little brother napped. Such a sweet memory :)

Morning snuggles

Elias and Lincoln adore each other. Elias has a tendency to play a little rough but on the whole they are each other's biggest fans. Elias loves making Lincoln belly laugh and everything Lincoln does makes Elias laugh so the banter is quite amusing. Here are some snaps of the boys during their morning ritual which includes a granola bar, cartoons on the iPad and snuggling :) Nothing warms my heart more than watching the two of them together.

Haircut anyone?

My kids grow hair like crazy and Elias HATES getting it cut! He shakes, screams and cries when the clippers get near him. I got fed up with them having bangs in their eyes so I took matters into my own hands. Daddy did not approve :)

Matching

Shameless mommy move but it had to be done. They have shirts that are practically identical and they both rock aviator shades when it's sunny out. Elias knows when he looks good and he says "I'm a cool kid". Hahaha!
