First day of school

It's the second year of preschool for Elias. This year he goes three days a week so mommy can effectively run all her errands without the bash brothers in tow.
When I asked Elias what day it was he said "preschool is canceled". Nice try.
That's better.

Lincoln laid back, running errands with Mom in the rain.
The reunion. They hadn't seen each other in three whole hours. It's guy love.
Racing to hug mommy. If only that love could have carried over into a compliant departure. It did not. Nuclear meltdown. Only kid doing it. Awesome.
Hanging out with his best buddy Drew.
Lincster Binkster splashing through the puddles!
Elias later complained that his boots were wet. Hmmmmm. Elias ate lunch for an hour straight (nothing like ring-around-the-rosie to work up an appetite) and napped for two hours. Preschool is hard work!
Salmon and potato sticks and asparagus spears with an avocado dipping sauce for dinner. 😋 Mommy and Daddy are on a special diet for 30 days. Pray for all of us!
It was very important to Elias that our vitamin and apple peeling stick figure be anatomically correct. He gets credit for the x rating.

Love to all!!

Haircuts

Elias outgrows his shirts when the circumference of his head says so, not when his body is done wearing the shirt. Here he is flying nun style.
Look at the hair on that kid! Mr. mop head is ready for a cut!
In Daddy's Hokie hat :)
Watching Daddy till the garden.
Cuts by Van.
There's something on my pop...
Ooooh, that's good. Totally helps!
Mmmmmmm

Snack at the park :)

Baking is thirsty work!

Maybe it's the tasting making me thirsty...

Makeshift hammock on the bottom of a kitchen chair. So creative!
These stickers are "band aids" Elias says.
E patched up Lincoln's face too.

I made Elias a chicken and cheese wrap. He said it was hot and ran to the freezer. "All better" he said :)

Random January-ness

The boys found Dad's old Stetson.
And my necklace. Rhinestone cowboy?

This snuggle is over! I'm out!

Look at the expression on Lincoln's face. What should the caption to this pic be?...

They each have their own chair but somehow they end up snuggling in one :) sigh.

Enjoying a movie in their new chairs and pjs :)

We appear to have a disgruntled lumberjack and a coal miner with a defunct headlamp on our hands.

The helmet is a new favorite accessory around the house these days.

I love the way Lincoln's baby legs stick out of his onesies. Apparently he's going for a ride.

Elias insisted I take this pic. He said "I love cooking!" As he hugged the mixer. Hahaha.

Hiding behind his tower

Hiding at the bottom of the hamper. I hardly ever see the bottom of the eternal wellspring of filthyness so this was a real treat!

I also love how his tiny little arms stick out of his onesies. Such an itty bitty fireman :)

Singing praise and worship music with Daddy :)

Eating snack with the nativity set. Yes it was still up in January. Don't judge.

Writing thank you notes for our Christmas presents. Using the stationary Nonni gave us. Thank you Nonni! You're teaching us to be such gentlemen :)

Thank God these were a clean pair.

You have a call. It's the baby modeling agency. You know they want me :)

Enjoying leftover ribs that Uncle E made for our NYE party.
Kid tested and Elias approved!

Magic carpet rides with Uncle Nick and his tiny baby girl Noelle.

Riding E's new bike at the tennis courts.
He kept yelling "I scorch forever!" As he drove in his circles at top speed. If you know what that means please tell his parents. Thank you.

"You may ask yourself, why such a big pair of gloves?"

Here's Elias knocking over a boy trying to walk up the slide. I didn't feel sorry for the kid, nor did I chastise Elias. The rule is "Up the stairs, down the slide" And that's exactly what Elias told him after the collision :)
Kangaroo jac's Bounce house was a huge hit!!
